The Honeywell TrueEase HE250 is a high performance By-Pass Humidifier with higher performance and reduced water consumption compaired to similar humififiers. While most by-pass flow-through humidifers consume 4 gallons of water to put 1 gallon into the air (1:4 Ratio) the Honeywell HE250 has a 1:2.8 ratio of water consumption saving up to 5,500 gallons of water per year. It also includes a Energy Saving Automatic Damper that opens only when humidity is needed rather than constantly cycling air through the bypass, making the HVAC System more efficient. Plus, it's built-in diagnostics tell you that the humidifier is working, needs it's pad replaced, or needs service with simple to understand LED indicators.
