The company was founded by the Johnson family in 1875, with a focus on being the most trusted team in Charleston and the Tri State area for dignified funeral services. Today, the business is operated and managed by third and fourth generation Funeral Directors in the family. Over the years the company has grown, the facility was updated, and funeral service options were expanded. However, the original values of the business remain the same.

Our cremation services are done with care by a Licensed Crematory Operator, with respectful handling of remains and an affordable cost. Some people choose cremation as a less costly option, since replacing a traditional funeral and burial with cremation can be much less expensive. Others choose cremation due to the flexibility of options it provides. We can help with low-cost direct cremations with no other service.
