Who Are We?
We are a mature group of independent professionals who provide quality counseling, psychological assessment, psychiatric assessment and treatment, wellness education, and mediation services.
We have two board certified adult psychiatrists, one of whom is also a board certified adolescent and child psychiatrist. Our therapists include licensed professional counselors (LPC), psychologists, and social workers. Our mediator is West Virginia Supreme Court approved for family mediation, and also provides conflict resolution training.
While we have advanced degrees, we continually avail ourselves of educational seminars, conferences and workshops, to gain knowledge of the latest and most effective treatment strategies.
Trained in brief therapy, we also have skills in long-term treatment.
We have a strong personal and professional interest in spiritual growth and treating the whole person: physical, psychological and spiritual.
We participate in most insurance plans, Employee Assistance and Managed Care programs.
If you are in crisis, please call ( 304-422-7300 or 1-800-841-7876) - we do not use email - and we will try to have a therapist see you the same day. If we cannot do this, we will try to schedule an appointment for you during that same week. Unfortunately, this cannot apply to our psychiatrists, whose caseloads generally do not allow scheduling for several weeks.
