Hopewell Place - Named after the Hopewell Indians who were the first settlers of the Teays Valley area. The words-Hope and Well-both represent the promises associated with recovery from substance abuse and addiction.
This program is a state of the art addiction treatment program offering intensive outpatient treatment for substance abuse problems. This Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) caters to individuals who want to maintain their housing and employment while benefiting from clinical treatment interventions in the evening. Individual treatment in an IOP program typically takes 4-6 weeks and consists of at least nine hours of treatment services each week. Clinically licensed, substance abuse professionals staff the facility and are able to assist clients by helping them to develop a recovery plan suited to their lifestyle.
Hopewell Place serves professional people who have had to travel out of state in the past to receive addictions treatment in a comfortable, confidential setting. The program accepts insurance, employee assistance programs and private pay referrals only.
Clinical outcomes focus on:

Abstinence. While substance abuse treatment interventions generally focus on more than just abstinence, it is crucial that the individual in treatment refrain from the use of alcohol or other psychoactive substances.
Improving Relationships. Individuals will learn to consider psychological issues in recovery and focus on self-monitoring psychological states. They will learn to modify behaviors that have influenced substance use in the past and will practice new recovery skills. Recovery from substance abuse and addiction affects more than the individual involved in treatment. Recovery must involve family, friends, employers and communities in order to make positive changes that assist not only the recovering person but also our world.
Development of a Personal Plan. Each individual develops a personal written plan for recovery.

Consumers of substance abuse treatment services are becoming more sophisticated and demanding. Because they are being forced to pay for a larger share of the treatment, many people are unwilling to pay for months or years. They want to get results quickly and efficiently. Hopewell Place provides targeted, strategic, short-term, outcome-oriented treatment that is both effective and brief in duration (4-6 weeks).
